Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Vaultric ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.
- You must be at least 18 years of age to use Vaultric
- These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales
- By creating an account, you confirm that you have read and accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy
Description of Service
Vaultric is a personal finance tracking and planning tool. It provides software for managing your financial information, including:
- Transaction tracking and categorisation
- Budgeting and spending analysis
- Cash flow forecasting and scenario modelling
- Investment and pension portfolio tracking
- Loan and credit management
- Multi-currency support

- We do NOT hold your money or process financial transactions on your behalf
- All calculations, forecasts, and projections are estimates only — not guarantees
User Accounts
Account Creation
- A valid email address is required
- We recommend a strong password of 12 or more characters
- You must provide accurate information
Your Responsibilities
- Keep your login credentials secure and confidential
- Do not share your account with others
- Notify us immediately at support@vaultric.com if you suspect unauthorised access
- Log out on shared or public devices
Account Suspension & Termination
- We may suspend your account for: violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or abusive behaviour
- You may close your account at any time via Settings → Delete Account
- Upon closure, your data will be deleted within 30 days
Acceptable Use
You May
- Use Vaultric for personal finance tracking and planning
- Track legitimate financial data and transactions
- Export your data at any time
You May Not
- Use Vaultric for illegal activities (including money laundering or tax evasion)
- Abuse, overload, or interfere with our systems
- Attempt to hack, breach, or test the security of our systems
- Scrape data from our service or reverse engineer our software
- Share your account credentials with others
- Use the Service for commercial or business purposes without a business plan
- Input false or misleading data to deceive others
User Content
You own your financial data. By using Vaultric, you grant us a limited licence to:
- Store and process your data to provide the Service
- Display your data back to you within the application
- Use fully anonymised and aggregated data for product improvement
We do not claim ownership of any data you enter into Vaultric. You can export and delete your data at any time through your account settings.
Subscriptions & Payments
Free Plan
A free plan is available to all users with access to core features. See our Pricing page for details on what's included.
Plus Plan
- Priced at £6.99/month or £70/year
- Billed monthly or annually via Stripe
- Automatic renewal unless cancelled
- Cancel at any time — no refunds for partial billing periods
Refund Policy
- 7-day money-back guarantee on your first purchase
- No refunds after the initial 7-day period for monthly plans
- Annual plans: Pro-rated refund available if cancelled within 30 days of purchase
Price Changes
- We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice
- Existing subscribers are grandfathered at their current rate for 12 months
Failed Payments
- A 7-day grace period applies after a failed payment
- After 7 days, your account will be downgraded to the free plan
- Your data is retained for 30 days to allow you to resubscribe

Vaultric is a financial tracking and planning tool. We do not provide investment, tax, legal, or financial advice. Always consult qualified professional advisers before making financial decisions.
Accuracy
- All calculations, forecasts, and projections are estimates and not guarantees
- You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of information you enter
- We are not liable for errors in calculations based on incorrect input data
Third-Party Services
Vaultric integrates with third-party services (Stripe, Supabase, Vercel). We are not responsible for their availability, downtime, or data handling. Please review their respective terms of service.
Data Loss
While we maintain regular backups and use best-in-class infrastructure, we recommend you regularly export your data. We are not liable for data loss, though we will make every reasonable effort to prevent it.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Vaultric is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind
- We are not liable for indirect, consequential, incidental, or punitive damages
- We are not liable for lost profits, lost data, or service interruptions
- We are not liable for errors in calculations or third-party actions
- Our maximum aggregate liability is limited to the amount you have paid us in the preceding 12 months, or £50, whichever is greater
Your statutory rights: Nothing in these Terms affects your rights under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 or any other statutory rights that cannot be excluded or limited by contract.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Vaultric, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your use or misuse of the Service
- Your violation of any applicable law or regulation
- Your infringement of any third-party rights
Intellectual Property
What Vaultric Owns
- Application design, source code, and architecture
- Trademarks, logos, and branding
- Documentation and marketing materials
You May Not
- Copy, modify, or distribute our proprietary code
- Use our name, logo, or branding without written permission
- Create derivative works based on our service
Some components of Vaultric use open-source software. These components are subject to their respective open-source licences.
Termination
We May Terminate Your Account
- For violation of these Terms
- For illegal use of the Service
- For abusive behaviour toward our team or other users
- With 30 days' notice for any other reason
Effect of Termination
- Access to the Service is revoked immediately
- Your data will be deleted within 30 days
- No refunds will be issued (except as stated in the Subscriptions section)
- Any outstanding fees remain due
Dispute Resolution
- Governing law: These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales
- Jurisdiction: The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction
- Informal resolution: We encourage you to contact us first to resolve disputes amicably at support@vaultric.com
- Arbitration: Not required — you retain the right to take disputes to court
- Class actions: Your rights under UK law to participate in class actions are not waived
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do:
- You will be notified by email and via an in-app notification at least 30 days before changes take effect
- The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be revised
- Continued use of Vaultric after changes take effect constitutes acceptance
- If you disagree with updated Terms, you should stop using the Service and close your account
Miscellaneous
- Entire agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Vaultric
- Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect
- No waiver: Our failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of that right
- Assignment: We may transfer our rights under these Terms to an acquirer; you will be notified
- Force majeure: We are not liable for failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control
